How to connect ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code to FlowAI

Connect your AI assistant to FlowAI with MCP so it can build and manage your Instagram and Facebook automations for you. Step by step for ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code, with videos.

Before you start

  • A FlowAI account you can sign in to.
  • An AI app that supports MCP custom connectors (ChatGPT, Claude, or another that supports MCP). The server address you'll paste is https://flowaisocial.com/api/mcp

Steps

    ChatGPT: open Plugins

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins, then click Browse directory. Click Add, scroll down, and choose Create MCP app.

    ChatGPT: enter the address

    Name it (for example "FlowAI"), paste the server address, and set Authentication to OAuth. Confirm you trust the server and continue.

    Claude instead: add a connector

    In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and click Add custom connector. Name it "FlowAI" and paste the server address.

    Sign in and click Allow

    Either app sends you to FlowAI. Sign in if asked, then click Allow. You're sent back to your AI app.

    Check it works

    Start a chat and ask: "List my FlowAI connections." If your accounts appear, you're connected. Now you can ask it to list your automations, create one, or look at a video project.

Tips and if something goes wrong

  • Your AI can manage automations, contacts and video projects. It can't send messages to people directly.
  • You can remove an app's access at any time on the API Keys page.
  • An app that can't sign in can use an API key instead. Create one on the API Keys page and send it as an Authorization header: Bearer YOUR_KEY.
