How to run a comment automation on only specific Instagram or Facebook posts
Choose exactly which posts, reels or videos an automation applies to, instead of every post. Step by step with FlowAI.
About 1 minute
Before you start
- A connected Instagram account or Facebook Page.
Steps
- 1
Open AI Builder
In the left menu, click AI Builder, and choose your account in the first step.
- 2
Choose "Only the ones I choose"
Under "Which posts?", click "Only the ones I choose". Your recent posts, reels and videos appear as pictures, each with its caption and date.
- 3
Click the posts you want
Click a picture to select it. A ring and a tick show it's chosen, and it appears as a small chip at the top. Click it again to remove it.
- 4
Look at more posts
Use Newer and Older to move through your posts, 12 at a time. Click Open under a post to see it bigger on Instagram or Facebook. Your choices stay selected while you browse.
- 5
Finish the other steps and activate
Click Next and continue as usual. On the Automations page the automation shows how many posts it covers, with their pictures.
Tips and if something goes wrong
- You must pick at least one post, or choose "All posts and videos" instead.
- Comments on any other post are ignored. A post you publish later isn't included, so make a new automation (or pick it in a new one) when you want it covered.
- Can't find a post? It may be further back. Keep clicking Older.
