How to make people follow you before they get your link on Instagram

Open the Extras step
In AI Builder, go to the Extras step, the fifth one. Skip ahead to it if you've already finished the earlier steps.

Turn on "Require them to follow you first"
Switch it on. Before FlowAI sends your real DM, it checks with Instagram whether that person follows you.

Write the message for people who don't follow yet
Write what they get if they're not following. If you leave it blank, FlowAI uses: "Looks like you're not following yet — follow and send the word again to get your link!"

Finish and activate
Click Next, review the summary, and click Activate. The summary now says they have to be following you first.

What people see
Someone who doesn't follow you gets your follow message. They follow, then comment the keyword again, and this time they get your real DM.

The follow message doesn't use up the one-message-a-day limit, so their second comment goes through.
If Instagram can't confirm that someone follows you, FlowAI treats them as not following, so nobody gets your link by mistake.
